As I stated, there are always improvements that are made to the Common App.Are there tutorials available on the Common Application site? No, but we did notice that it has been removed from the official site. When the site was first built, the tutorials were included to help new applicants learn the Common App process.How many applications are you eligible for? In our experience, applicants typically only receive two or three applications. This is to encourage new students to take the test and boost the competitiveness of the application process. If you receive more than three offers of admission, your school is most likely setting you up for disappointment.Do you have to submit your essay in hard copy? No, but the Common Application, along with all the other Common App applications, is not completely electronic. You will still need to send your essay electronically to the admissions office.Should I ask my essay samples question in person? No. The essay samples are given to applicants in the class, so it would be against the rules if you were to ask the teacher directly about your essay.Will I know how to properly answer essay sample questions? Your teacher is the best person to show you how to answer these types of questions, but they cannot be applied in your case. There is one rule that applies to all essay samples, and that is: if the answer is unclear, you should write it out again.Are there any other Common Application essay samples available? Of course, but these will not be available until January or February.
